ACTRESS PASI KOETLE'S FASHION HAS EVERY WOMAN FEELING LIKE A STAR

Pasi Koetle wants every woman to feel like the queen of her scene with her new Uzuri Secrets range.

Performing has always been Mapaseka aka Pasi Koetle’s superpower. It won her an ongoing role in a major TV drama ‘Scandal’, a Royal Soapie Award and now this wonder woman has diversified into a thriving fashion business.

Making the most of years spent in television wardrobe departments, Pasi took the leap by starting her own fashion line called Uzuri Secrets that specialises in matching sets.

“A name is powerful… so when you name something it has to have a good meaning. Zuri means “beautiful”, so Uzuri – “you are beautiful,” shares Pasi.

“I believe our clothes are beautiful and everytime our clients wear our clothes they do feel beautiful. I feel beautiful every time I wear my brand too,” she adds.

Together with her healthy eating café in Sandton, Pasi’s businesses offer fertile ground for the dreams of the women she works with to grow – like assistant Siphokazi Mayekiso.

“My relationship with Pas is a very unique and special one. To get into a business where two women are doing what they love, are getting along and enabling Uzuri to grow, that’s beautiful to watch,” states Siphokazi.

For this locally manufactured brand it all starts with curating the right colours, prints and fabrics that bring together the beautiful sets.

And the inclusive range is meant to be empowering by enabling women to look and feel their best no matter their shape or curves.
