WHIRLWIND CITY EXPERIENCE FOR CHAD LE CLOS AND JEANNI MULDER
A weekend getaway in Cape Town is like gold to Olympic champion Chad le Clos and Miss SA finalist Jeannie Mulder.
As a couple, our most decorated Olympian Chad Le Clos and international model Jeanni Mulder’s success means eleven of the twelve months away from their peeps and much of it apart from each other. So a staycation in their own hometown was Christmas come early.
We met up with the two who had the pleasure of staying at Atlantic View Boutique Hotel in Camps Bay, Cape Town where they got to enjoy the most amazing views from their penthouse suite.
Bright and early the next morning we seized the opportunity to accompany Chad to a training session with coach Balint Richter, where Chad filled us in on his swimming goals for the future.
Following Chad’s extensive workout, the duo put their best foot forward for an afternoon at the Zeitz MOCCA gallery and Royal Tea experience at The Silo which consisted of a decadent selection of petit gateaux and teatime treats while overlooking the cityscape.
All the while, a sunset dinner was in the works, courtesy of Atlantic View’s head chef who himself has an inspiring story of success which we welcome hearing more about.
