Woolworths has all the inspiration you need to style yourself, your family and dress your table for effortless entertainment and the great outdoors.

Friends in the business of festivity Chef Clement Petro, his wife, travel blogger and stylist, Megan Pedro, and wine magazine editor, Bubbles Hyland, took time out to get into the spirit and celebrate the moments that matter.

The weekend commenced with a trip to the 5-star luxury villa on Brookdale Estate that’s tucked between the ancient granite mountains of the Klein Drakenstein and lush Paarl farmlands.

“This year, as amazing as it’s been, has been quite a rush. So I really appreciate moments like this, where we can come out with loved ones and friends and just kind of space out for a second, take in the beautiful surroundings and just Zen,” comments Clem while relaxing poolside.

Dressed in light flowy fabrics and a range of white and green items made from sustainably sourced cotton, the party blended perfectly with the lush surroundings and breathtaking landscape.

“Trends hit shelves all the time and we never know what’s coming. But I think it’s good to just stay true to your style and develop that style. Something that will always be in style is responsible sourcing, be it our cottons, linens or other flowy materials. Investing in those kinds of pieces will serve you well throughout the seasons,” says Megan.

Bubbles’ son Elijah and friend Faith, aka his weekend sister, were also on point and ready for adventure in their choice of easy to wear kids clothing. As always, Woolworths is the go to Summer guide, offering only the best selection, whether you’re looking for easy to cook meals, striking fashion, beautiful homeware or holiday essentials.

No occasion is complete without a good meal. Chef Clem was in top form and ready to pull together a feast fit for such an soiree in such a stunning space.

“So I’ve taken on this festive feast as a one man show. Everything is from Woolies. Most of it is ready to cook and ready to roast,” shares Clem before adding. “Growing up, seafood was always my favorite thing on the Christmas table so that’s why I’m going with two types this year, prawns and the salmon. The salmon is something particularly special. I mean, look at it wrapped in pastry with that cream spinach – it is a showstopper!”

Megan found a complete festive decor solution in Woolies to enhance the experience and hubby’s spread. In keeping with the naturals look and feel, she dressed the table with earthy placemats, elegant baubles, Christmas crackers, mini feather trees, led lights and stylish fabric napkins.

“My favorite part of Christmas are these crackers from Woolies that are all made out of recycled boxes at a local fair trade factory and they’re also made without plastic,” says Bubbles.

With the meal prepared and the table set, it was time to shine and slip into something a little more dressy.

Elegant but comfortable was the order of the day and Woolworth once again outperformed with their collection of ready to wear satin, sequence and glam occasion wear. Megan and Bubbles rounded off each of their ensembles with fresh makeup looks and a touch of colour from WW Beauty products.

With everyone ready, it was time to delight in the beautiful spread that was prepared downstairs, at which time the adults paused to reflect on their favorite moments of 2021. A clear theme was the quality time spent surrounded by loved ones.
