NO FUSS REWARDS & SAVINGS BENEFITS EMPOWERING YOU TO LIVE BETTER

Capitec’s simplified rewards program enables you to save better and live better.

Between our dream lifestyle and daily lives, it can sometimes seem as if the one is a bridge too far from the other. So, why not simplify things by letting South Africa’s best digital bank take your savings habits back to basics, so you can start living your better life sooner?

Capitec, with Live Better, has revolutionised rewards, cash back and even taken it a step further to add in a wealth of resources to empower their clients to realise their full potential. And there’s no complicated systems, no extra charges and the financial education is simple and easy-to-understand to help empower all users to better control their finances.

Phumzile Andries, Digital Communications Specialist at Capitec, is all about living better and obtaining those dreams. One way he does that is to use his cash back savings towards living his best life and stocking up on basics.

With a social calendar fast filling up with outdoor adventures, Phumzile shares that he’s on a mission to acquire a good jacket to protect him from the outdoor elements during the colder months.

“I’m looking for a nice warm and comfortable jacket that will keep me warm this winter, the next and the one after that and the cool thing about today is that I’m doing all this shopping with my savings which I’ve collected through the Capitec banking app,” comments Phumzile.

He adds, “It’s very easy, you just activate Live Better on it and you save while you spend through the Round-Up, and you earn interest when you have money in your main account through Interest Sweep.”

Being a Capitec client, Phumzile, gets all kinds of benefits each month on Live Better Day (the 10th of each month), helping his savings to go even further.

A timeless Fjällräven black jacket with hidden hoodie that borders on outdoor gear and urban wear is what Phumzile opted for. Just in time for this excursion with a few of his colleagues who wanted to embrace the last days at one of Cape Town’s top tourist attractions before winter with a trip at sea.

It’s here that we learn a little more about the special attributes of The V&A Waterfront’s harbour.

“This bay is full of surprises. Having the Indian Ocean not too far off the harbour areas, we sometimes get visitors from the warmer sees that come in. So, there’s always a good chance of spotting dolphins and whales, and even the occasional shark,” explains skipper Avril Slabbert.

Their time at sea did not disappoint, as the trio were blessed to sail alongside a glorious pod of dolphins.

“Live Better simplified my life in a way that I get to spend days like these having such fantastic adventures,” said Phumzile as the day drew to a close.

“Live Better enables me to live better by banking better, spending better and saving better because the majority of my Live Better savings I’ve spent on tattoos, going on holidays as well as sharing activities such as this one with friends,” commented friend and colleague Esona.

Our beautiful country offers endless horizons of proudly South African escapes and experiences to explore with loved ones and spend your cash back or live better savings on. We encourage you to do just that and start living your better life today.
