BIANCA BOSCH ON USING SOCIAL MEDIA TO PROMOTE FITNESS AND HEALTH

We chat to The Kissing Booth star, Bianca Bosch on how she is using her platform to champion fitness and health.

As the daughter of a dancer, Bianca Bosch always found the ability to hold an audience’s attention a powerful one. It led her to acting, starring in The Kissing Booth films and now a growing career as a health and fitness influencer.

In the process of becoming a Vinyasa yoga teacher and training in the Japanese therapy of Reiki, Bianca’s workouts are predominantly movement based.

Bianca’s fitness journey began in dancing. She started ballet and contemporary when she just four years old and stopped 16 years later when she decided to pursue a career in acting.

However, there was still a desire to feed her need for movement and bar body. Pilates fulfilled that for her.

“Keeping fit is important for me because this is the vessel that is going to carry me through my life and I need to honour and preserve it,” she explains.

Fitness isn’t just about the aesthetic for Bianca, its more about the feeling of being more energetic.

Keeping a healthy body obviously pays dividends for a business mind which recently had this light-bulb moment and saw her launch a business allowing her to express her talent for interior design.

The portable lighting enterprise, Moodmakers, about bringing mood to spaces while dealing with wider power issues.

“My lighting business started during load shedding to provide South Africans with a stylish lighting solution,” explains Bianca, “all of our lights are high end designer pieces that create the mood for any occasion.”
