EXPLORE KZN’S YOUNG NATURE RESERVE WITH THE Q TWINS

The Q Twins take a trip with The Insider SA to Babanango Game Reserve that’s set on the incredibly beautiful White Umfolozi River.

Settled within the Umfolozi valley in KZN is a newly developed private game reserve, pioneering with purpose to uplift the community and highlight conservation while championing the beauty of the area.

The 22,000 hectares Babanango Game Reserve hosts a national heritage site and is situated in a gorgeous region with a pristine coastline, rolling hills, waving grasslands, forests, rivers, mangrove swamps and cattle ranches.

In addition to being the home of an array of buffalo, giraffe, hyena, zebra and 32 species of butterfly, more than 280 bird species can be found in the region.

It’s in this magnificent environment that we spent time with music duo Viggy and Virginia Qwabe, better known as the Q Twins.

The twins are KZN natives that first gained Mzansi’s attention by appearing in a popular singing competition. It was however their first single ‘Hamba’, that set them on their path to success.
