KID X AND DUDU CHILI ON MARRIAGE AND PARENTHOOD
Between platinum awards and a new album, rapper Kid X and his wife Dudu Chili only have eyes for their daughter.
Rapper Bonginkosi “KidX” Mahlangu’s personal life has been kept on the down low as long as we’ve known him. Until he wed model Duduzile “Dudu” Chili and they had their first child in February 2021.
Parenthood has been a leap of faith that have brought much reward, shares the mom and day of daughter Zen.
This new world in the midst of this pandemic gave them a whole lot of time for perspective and family life.
With family keen to babysit, KidX and Dudu took a staycation at The Peech in Melrose, Johannesburg. Set amid two acres of lush landscaped gardens, the award-winning The Peech is a purposefully designed eco-friendly, chic boutique hotel.
While there they seized the opportunity to pick up new skills from their local restaurant Basalt Chef in Residence, Candice Philip who’s understudied SA cheffing legends David Higgs and Luke Dale Roberts, and to share more about what we can expect from the new album.
