FRANCOIS VAN COKE AND FAMILY’S ADVENTURE TO WOLSELEY

Take a trip to Wolseley in The Western Cape with rocker Francois van Coke and family.

Francois Badenhorst, more popularly known as Francois van Coke, is an iconic name in the world of alternative Afrikaans music.

He first broke onto the scene with his band in the mid-noughties Fokofpolisiekar and has since expanded his career into a variety of musical ventures. Having written and sung songs that spoke to a generation of Afrikaans youth who previously felt alienated from their society, his work not only reflects who he is but gives voice to this generation.

Francois is doing life with wife Lauren. Together with their pigeon pair Alex and newborn Max, they took a trip with us to The Riverstone House

The tranquil location just outside of the small Breede River town of Wolseley in The Western Cape is the ideal way for Francois to escape with his family.

The accommodation consists of the main house, a converted container as well as an intimate space for couples on the edge of the farm. The Eco-friendly, quirky container conversions with luxury finishes provide a unique experience for guests, and makes for a plush stay in nature for the conscious consumer.
