MASTER KG AND DJ NGWAZI REFLECT ON A BEAUTIFUL WORKING FRIENDSHIP WHILE KICKING BACK IN LIMPOPO
With four hundred million YouTube views of Jerusalema, and beating out Nicky Minaj to win Song of The Year, Master KG and DJ Ngwazi take advantage of a much needed holiday.
Musician and producer Master KG returned home for a weekend at the Unembeza Boutique Lodge and Spa and it had Limpopo abuzz with the visit from their favourite son. He was accompanied by DJ Ngwazi, his brother-from-another-mother who was also on his Jerusalema Summer Europe Tour.

“I realised I had a passion for music back in 2011 when I was still in high school. I had friends who were already producing at that time and would invite me into their bedroom studio to see how they were doing. I learned from there,” shares Master KG.
DJ Ngwazi is a long time friend and collaborator from before KG’s first album.
“We met back in 2017 at a festival in Botswana. He [DJ Ngwazi] was one of the biggest promoters in Botswana… He used to play for me. I would play a set first, then hit the stage and DJ Ngwazi was the one that would hold the desk. He knows how to make people crazy, knew what I wanted and that helped us connect a lot,” explains Master KG of the brotherhood.
One thing that I like about KG is that he’s a man of his word. He’s focused and always willing to go far far far. He’s also someone that loves his family,” says Ngwazi.
