“Naturally farmed wheat milled, whole with stone, maintaining the integrity of the grain that is transferred into a naturally fermented dough, baked off quickly, and maintaining moisture making it one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. That’s what we’re bringing back to South Africa, putting real bread back onto the table,” explains the baker who this year made his reality TV debut as one of the judges on SABC 2’s The Taste Master. He hosts the show together with celebrity chef and author Zola Nene.
“I was so proud of seeing Fritz on TV because I know, being his wife, that it’s not his comfort zone. I think he’s done a fantastic job, but I also think he has a great co-presenter that has really helped him along. I think it’s really a team effort with something like that and that you’ve got to have some sort of spark between the two of you, and Zola and Fritz definitely had that,” comments Chanelle.
Baking more memories is the soul of season 2 of The Taste Master SA, brought to you by Royal Baking Powder, and it’s certainly the way of life for Fritz and his restaurants.
