WE CATCH UP WITH MISS SOUTH AFRICAS THAT HAVE STOOD THE TEST OF TIME

Wayne Stafford is a pageant producer that is dedicated to the industry. Every talent he works with is a success he celebrates, as if they are family.

This week, we joined Wayne for a shoot with four Miss South Africas, Kerishnie Naiker, Sonia Raciti-Oshry, Tansey Coetzee, and Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala.

After Sonia finished in the Miss Universe top three, teaching and family became her all-consuming priorities.

‘I’m an educator, which has always been a passion of mine,” she says, “I have always believed that education is the cornerstone of a winning nation.”

Although she is a popular television anchor, it’s what Kerishnie has done away from lights and cameras that’s most impressive.

“I was a practicing pharmacist when I won Miss South Africa, I was also studying my masters towards tuberculosis research in South Africa,” she explains.

“Since becoming Miss South Africa, I managed to establish nine tuberculosis clinics in South Africa, one in each of our provinces.”

Tansey’s enduring career as a top model is setting a significant benchmark for longevity in the industry, while she’s also loving motherhood.

While being a proud mom to her miracle baby girl, Tansey is still modelling and judges numerous pageants across the country.

Putting every bit of her fashion, modelling and pageant experience into business has been a winning formula for Bokang.

Wayne’s cover shoot was a chance to make the most of one of Joburg’s most ingenious, outdoor photography studios, The Photo Factory Venue.

Located in Boksburg, Johannesburg, this indoor and outdoor venue has become the ideal location for photographers of all levels.

With a diverse landscape and a variety of backdrops, Photo Factory is the perfect for any photo or video shoot.

The venue includes three indoor studios, an outdoor white wall studio, a boudoir studio, lifestyle studio, and magnificent gardens.

Each Miss South Africa marks a chapter in what Wayne has to teach young hopefuls on his talk show.

These women have stood the test of time by evolving, adapting, growing and if anything they’re even more beautiful for it.
