On hand to get Palesa, was ski instructor Shayne Murray. While nervous at first she took it on like a champ and was quickly confident enough to shimmy through the snow. There were a couple of falls and slips but she managed to get the hang of it.
“Skiing has been a bucket list item of mine. I think it’s about pushing boundaries and putting yourself out there even if it makes you uncomfortable. I fell a couple of times, but it’s fun and an experience that I will always hold in my heart,” shares the champ.
