CAPITEC COLLEAGUES AND FIRM FRIENDS CELEBRATE A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY AT NUNGU DIAMONDS

Friends and teammates, Esona Ndongeni and Chandrè Matlala, enjoy the luxury afforded through simple banking, clever saving and smart investments from top African luxury brand, Nungu Diamonds

To the entrepreneurial couple behind Nungu Diamonds (Nungu Diamonds (nungu-diamonds.co.za), Kealeboga and Ursula Pule, luxury is having had the example of parents who worked together in business. This afforded them the opportunity to study design and law respectively – and then the daring to launch their own enterprise in the prestigious and competitive diamond industry in South Africa.

It was straight after graduation that diamonds first caught Kealeboga’s keen eye for business, and seized his imagination. After a year’s mentorship, he was armed with the knowledge to venture out on his own. Not long thereafter, talented designer and wife Ursula, joined the team and Nungu Diamonds was born. Their passion and skill saw them growing and making the right connections in the right circles at the right times allowing their small company to grow and compete with other major, more established, players in the diamond and jewellery space.

By creating a website, they helped educate clients and simplify diamond buying, but first prize is the choice to personally visit their operation for a consultation. Which is exactly the opportunity that Capitec’s Chandrè Matlala and Esona Ndongeni seized to learn about how investing in diamond jewellery can be both a clever investment to start a legacy. Though this visit was more in their capacity as friends to mark Esona’s special birthday in March. Convinced of the value of an investment in this precious commodity, through her savings and responsible credit management, Chandrè decided she could afford to spoil her close friend to mark this occasion. The sheer variety in this easy to wear lifestyle jewellery range wasn’t going to make it easy picking a favourite for Esona but, pick, they eventually did.

The real diamonds in this story are a couple who’ve taken this natural resource, used it to offer local talents a place to grow – and to inspire more dreams. If you have similar dreams to grow your investments, Capitec, have shown that through simple banking, easy digital payment applications and a host of saving and credit facilities, you too can afford the luxury to make bold moves.
