CHEF AYA'S CRUNCHY HEALTH BARS RECIPE

Take snacking to new level’s with Chef Aya aka The Cook Dude’s crunchy health bars which are easy to make and delectable to eat.

INGREDIENTS

  • Oats 2 cups
  • Almond nuts 1 cup
  • Pumpkin seeds 1/2 cup
  • Dates 1/2 cups (chopped)
  • Prunes 1 1/2 cup
  • Honey 1/2 cup

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In an oven tray, toast your oats, almonds and pumpkin seeds for 8-10 min
  2. Take your prunes and blend them into a paste
  3. In a mixing bowl, add your toasted oats, almonds and pumpkin seeds followed by dates honey and prune paste. Mix well with your hands and transfer into I lined tray (lined with grease proof paper).
  4. Make sure you press the mixture flat down using a spatula or something with a flat surface. Place the mixture covered in the fridge for 2 hrs. When the mixture has set, take it out of the fridge and cut your bars in any shape that you like and enjoy.
