In the few, short years since Tshepiso Lekganyane (tshepiso) began to create unique, silver jewellery, the world has taken notice. A 2022 Design Indaba Emerging Creative, featured in top international fashion magazines, this proudly South African artist remains as understated as they come.
Having studied contemporary jewellery in Florence, Italy, Tshepiso learnt resilience in her craft as well as a feel for the alternative and fashion forward. The more intricate pieces can take up to 6 weeks to complete but her clients are happy to bide their time for such works of art and ensure they sparkle for the special moments in life. Like Kayla Noble and David Oliver who’ve been waiting a lot longer than that to get married.
With their wedding date finally set for November, the couple are finalising the last important elements for their big day. This brought them to Tshepiso to design custom wedding bands that offered them something memorable, fashionable andunique to celebrate their union on the day they get married and through the life together. We joined the lovely couple to witness all the elemental forces which go into creating the special rings.
